While working for The Larson Group-TLG as the Director of Risk & Safety, I was responsible for assisting the VP of HR by overseeing the organization\'s comprehensive insurance, risk management, environmental/sustainability program and safety programs. I assessed and identified risks that could impede the safety, security, and financial success of the organization. Responsibilities: • Conduct risk assessments, collect and analyze documentation, statistics, reports and market trends. • Establish policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizations services and departments. • Review and assess risk management policies and protocols; make recommendations and implement modifications and improvements. • Recommend and implement risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, and recovery measures. • Draft and present risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff. • Review, recommend, and manage appropriate training and measure training goals. • Analyze accidents, manage workers\' compensation claims, and provide mitigation suggestions. • Review safety and OSHA policies and training. • Conduct on-site safety audit inspections. • Manage ISO risk & safety program. • Ensure safety objectives are being met and maintained. • Train, implement, and review new policies and procedures. Champion organizational change to adopt safety culture. • leads both tactical & strategic health/safety functional support for Peterbilt\'s (BEV) Battery operated vehicles, aka semi-truck repair; safety maintenance operations and programs for The Larson Group-TLG. Developed safety training programs based off of the Peterbilt BEV.
