I still remember how uncomfortable I felt during my first cold call. I had a script in front of me, but none of it felt natural. What I think helped me was curiosity. I just wanted to understand the person on the other side.That mindset has shaped the way I approach sales today.I didn’t start in this field. I began in operations and HR, working behind the scenes on onboarding, vendor management, and client coordination. Those roles taught me how to communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and handle chaos without losing clarity.When I moved into business development, everything started to make sense. The systems thinking from operations, the people skills from HR, they all came together.Now at Growthic, I work with founders and brands to start meaningful conversations. I focus on outreach, qualification, and helping our team turn interest into impact. To me, sales is not about pitching.
