Driving AI Solutions for Intel\'s Emulation Tools Team: Ramping on GPU architecture, parallel computing, and collaborating with the AI Solutions Group to enhance Emulation tools support with faster, AI-driven capabilities.• BFM/Transactor-based Emulation Testbench Framework (C++, Python, Pytest, Github): Developing and supporting a framework for system protocols (PCIe, CXL) to enable communication between transactors/BFMs. Developed data packet conversion solutions between BFM and multiple transactors, through UXI protocol. Enabled automated build & checkin tests for github pull requests.• Emulation Tools flow (Python, Perl, Pytest, Github): Revamped legacy BIOS emulation flow for pre-silicon validation (Python, Perl), including refactoring, feature development, and maintenance. Migrated Perl to Python, implemented unit tests, regressions, and modular project configuration, eliminating obsolete dependencies. Co-authored Intel DTTC (Design and Test Technology Conference) paper.• Dynamic Platform Configuration Generation (Python, Perl, Simics): Enabled and supported dynamic platform configuration generation to facilitate emulation validation teams and content tool owners to launch dynamic feature validation tests.• Versioned Releases (Python): Implemented versioned releases for the Emulation tool suite using Python and internal release tools.• SCRUM Master (Jira): Acted as SCRUM Master for a team of approximately 16 members, using Rally and Jira for efficient project management.

ABOUT PREETHI BOTTA

As a Software Engineer with over a decade of experience at Intel, I am involved in development and support of emulation testbench frameworks and transactor solutions for protocols like PCIe and CXL. I revamped BIOS emulation flows for pre-silicon validation, improving performance and scalability. With expertise in Python, C++, Perl, and TCL, I’ve contributed to various domains, including Layout Tool flow, Mixed Signal Validation, Emulation Tools/Flows development, BFM/xtor data packet conversion, and exploratory data analysis. As a SCRUM Master for a team of 16 engineers, I managed project and drove efficient project execution using Agile methods. With dual Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering (VLSI) and Computer Science (Data Science/Machine Learning), I have a strong foundation in both hardware and software.I collaborate across hardware and software disciplines, promoting teamwork to deliver optimized solutions. My interests include Machine Learning, Data Science, CPU/GPU architecture, Automation, and Verification IP development.
