ABOUT PRATYASHA KAR
Born and brought up in Kolkata, I am a Final year student pursuing BA Hons Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi with a minor in Political Science. Completed my schooling in 2021 in Humanities with Maths. I have a keen interest in the field of Research in Economics particularly dealing with Feminist and Development Economics. My stints as Research Intern at NITI Aayog and Ministry of Commerce and Industries, along with my active involvement in the Research Vertical of the Department have all enhanced my experience and honed my skills.Further on I have explored the corporate working environment through my time at JSW Group,making me well versed in working in diverse work environments having very different natures of projects. Also an avid traveler and reader, you will generally find me either looking up book recommendations or places to visit next in my vacations! A natural team worker as well as leader as demonstrated through my involvements as Core Team members in two college socs till date, I am highly ambitious and strive to deliver stellar results and perfection in all my endeavors.
