ABOUT PRASHOB K PRASAD

Hi I’m Prashob,A seasoned business professional and I’m driven towards all things related to Sales. I have 12 years of Cumulative experience, of which, 8 years have been spent in spearheading sales efforts viz. Direct sales(Field sales/Inside Sales), Channel Sales and Institutional sales. The exposure of working in cities like Chennai, Bangalore and Kerala helped for my personal and professional growth.Since October 2019, I’ve been an Area Manager for Business Development at Entab Infotech Pvt Ltd, where I’ve focused my time on Business Development and Marketing activities. I have created a lot of enquiries making quotes and converting them into sales. I am one of the co-founders of EduDefine, a distribution company in education sector at Kerala.Prior to this role, I was at Times Internet Ltd (Times of India Group), where I spent nearly two years (July 2014 to May 2016) acquiring 7 competition accounts within 3 months. I enjoyed motivating and training other account managers as a Key Account Manager. With an extensive background in Sales and Marketing, I am an expert on Lead Generations and new client acquisitions. Prior to Times Internet, I was the Business Development Executive at Orell Techno systems India Pvt Ltd and the Business Development Engineer at TelcAve Computing Pvt Ltd from June 2012 to May 2013. During my tenure at these companies, I helped them in Vendor registration activities. I had built relationships with clients by organizing and conducting client visits, meetings, and technical discussions. I handled price negotiation and deal closing activities.Outside of work, I recharge by Yoga and Meditation. I am a Level 4 Certified Yoga Instructor and a volunteer at Art of Living, an international NGO. I am an Avid reader. I enjoy reading Self-development books, spiritual and management books. What I appreciate about my job is being able to pursue both my personal goals and professional passions with equal gusto – honestly, I think it makes me a better person both personally and professionally.
