Feasibility study for development of new product. Co-ordinating with all relevant functions in New Product development. Document change control, updating documents, product realization process through APQP, Process flow, PFMEA & Control plan for new products & PPAP submission. Proving, commissioning of new machines to meet the business volumes and for Proto types and Pilot samples and new platform projects Planning and Development of Jigs and Fixtures, Tooling and Gauges. Propose and implement cost reduction projects and productivity enhancement measures. Conduct point CIP for ratio projects like reduction in cycle time, change over time, defect costs and material handling time Support for shop floor activities for problems related to fixtures, tooling’s, gauges, development activities etc. Facilitating process sheets, quality sheets / stage drawings, control plans & SOP’s tooling drawings & cutting tools required for processing of the product. Responsible for cycle time/ Takt time estimation, Time study, & Layout Planning. Understanding requirements for new developments, discussion with management & incorporating the same in CAPEX plan with suitable justification.
