Obsolescence Program is to overhaul and update Hardware, Operating systems, Virtual Machines, Servers, Databases and Applications throughout the bank. Key Roles and Responsibilities were the following:• Test Strategy and Planning: Developed the overall test strategy for the Obsolescence program• Test Management: Managed all testing activities throughout the program lifecycle, including test planning, estimation, execution, and closure. • Resource Management: Identified and secured the necessary resources for testing, including testers, testing tools, and environments.• Risk Management: Identified, analysed, and managed testing-related risks within the program and implemented mitigation strategies.• Ensured that the testing activities aligned with quality assurance standards and best practices, and that the testing process contributes to the overall quality of the program deliverables. • Stakeholder Management, Communication and Reporting• Test Documentation: Oversaw the creation and maintenance of test documentation • Defect Management: Established processes for defect identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution, working closely with development teams and other stakeholders. • Continuous Improvement: Identified opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and techniques for the program and implementing changes as necessary. • Vendor Management: Coordinated with external vendors or third-party testing teams.• Training and Mentoring: Provided guidance and support to the testing team members, and identifying training needs to enhance their skills and capabilities. • Compliance and Standards: Ensured that testing activities adhered to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.Bank of England Website Migration & MFT Project• Providing the necessary test management and assurance for this website migration project to improve and migrate to Microsoft Azure Platform
