Hi, my name is Pouyan ~Here\'s a bit about me, and my background. I look forward to connecting with you on LinkedIn,>\' I was born in Arizona and raised with my older sister. I felt restless in my hometown and had the urge to explore the country with my band. After high school, we received an offer from a band manager to go on tour. Our band was successful, touring internationally and hitting the billboard charts with our 3 albums. However, we ultimately made the tough decision to stop playing together. This was a difficult time for me as music had become such a defining part of my identity. I played as a musician for hire for a bit but it wasn\'t the same, so I quit music entirely and picked up 3 restaurants jobs. I tested my stamina from brunch to dawn for around two years until finally, I had to face it. I wasn\'t progressing any long-term goals and had to escape this unsustainable loop; I had to find a new challenge that would ignite passion, and drive me forward. 101 Health and exercise became my new obsession and I set my sights on USC’s School of Cinematic Arts program. I went back to community college and after years of hard work, I received a scholarship to USC. I supported my way through college while working on commercials, music videos, and short films. I was thrilled to win the Emmy for the FX documentary series I produced. However, I was drawn to the potential of immersive entertainment and new technologies such as VR, MR and AR. Embracing cutting edge technology opened up opportunities to work with the world’s top creative talent, including multiple Academy Award winners. Together, we’ve developed and distributed novel, award-winning experiences to the large global audiences and generated entertainment partnerships while educating key stakeholders to embrace new technologies, break records, and help shape these new industries. I’ve contributed to defining new distribution models and revenue streams, negotiating first-of-their-kind contracts, and I also remain passionate about helping creators to monetize their assets.Whether the hardware is VR or AR, is leveraged by UGC, AI, or blockchain, whatever your definition of metaverse; I take great pleasure in being a catalyst in delivering inspiring, mind-expanding entertainment to audiences around the world.
