Taking ownership and accountability of entity financials and ensuring the Statutory audits are signed off timely as per the requirements. Ensuring monthly /quarterly analysis and qualitative commentary for cost. Liasioning with auditors for performance of Statutory & SOX audits. Review of work done by Accounting operations to ensure the accounting is in accordance with IFRS and/or local GAAP requirements and ensuring proper implementation of the same. Review and ensuring completion of tax packs, booking of tax provisions and monitoring tax accounts movements. Reviewing Transfer Pricing calculation and ensure the same is in accordance with the agreement/arrangement. Strong supervisory and team handling skills and act as direct touch point for direct reports. Providing guidance & assistance to the team ensuring all the deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time. Handling all adhoc requests from senior management and escalation point of contact for all stakeholder queries. Managing primary relationship with Regional Tax Department, Finance, Internal Audit, Treasury, General Accounting, Statutory Auditors and outsource partners.
