ABOUT PIERRE ROCQUE
I have been working at numerous underground and open-pit mining operations since 1987, in Canada and Australia. My experience covers numerous facets of mining engineering in various commodities where I was exposed to multiple mining methods and environments, from shallow to deep deposits and from small producers (700 tpd) to larger ones tpdy). After spending a few years with an international EPCM firm, I came back to the Corporate environment. I also lectured at the University of Toronto Lassonde Mineral Engineering Program for four years.My interests are: Mine Design, Geomechanics, Corporate Development and NI 43-101/JORC reporting.
