Enterprise Architect in the VMware by Broadcom software business aligned with strategic banking customers. As an EA, my role is to provide an EA function to my customers. Working with key C-Level stakeholders to understand an organisation\'s goals, challenges and current capabilities and build these into a current state and future state architecture, identifying gaps between capabilities. These architectures have to align with an organisation\'s strategy, and often, in banking, it is related to improving resiliency, aligning with regulatory body goals and becoming more cost-efficient in how technology is applied and operated. Owning the future state and leading a large Broadcom Software team in implementation are also key responsibilities in my role. Ensuring the team I lead is empowered and capable of driving and delivering the outcomes needed. Integrating into an existing governance model and identifying and improving governance where possible. Some examples are running Architecure review boards and quarterly business review meetings focusing on the capabilities and challenges. My role also includes managing risk with the customer and informing the correct level of leadership on how to manage and mitigate risk in decision-making.
