Key Responsibilities:Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and design tailored solutions that align with their business objectives using VMware’s portfolio of products and services. Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise and guidance on VMware’s solutions, including virtualization, cloud computing, networking, and security, to customers and partners. Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, and technical presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of VMware’s offerings. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to technical validation, ensuring that proposed solutions meet their needs and address any technical concerns. Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors’ products and solutions to effectively position VMware’s offerings and articulate their unique value propositions. Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams to communicate customer feedback and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, white papers, and technical specifications, to support the sales process. Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and other sales collateral, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer requirements. Strong knowledge of VMware products and solutions, including vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and VMware Cloud on AWS- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies- Willingness to travel as needed.
