Hi, I\'m Phil Roberts, with over thirty years in Manufacturing and Distribution, which started in the Automotive Tier 1 industry. I have held senior leadership roles in multiple sectors within the Quality Assurance and Process Engineering disciplines. In 2005, I founded Probe to offer Quality Engineering and Third-Party Inspection, evolving into a global consultancy focusing on Business Improvement, Turnaround Activities, and developing POET, a cloud-based software for operational excellence. I bring extensive experience from significant roles in large Distribution companies, including a stint as Operations Director. My expertise includes Project Management, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, and mentoring for Knowledge Transfer, aiming to upskill client teams for maximum ROI. A career highlight was winning the Digital Engineering & Technology Award in 2021 for POET. My work with notable brands has led to profound problem-solving successes, significantly impacting their financial health. Overseas projects have enriched my experience, allowing me to navigate professional challenges across cultures. Currently, the success of POET is steering my focus towards its expansion, balancing consulting work. Being active in the Wales and East Midlands Chambers of Commerce and the Welsh Automotive Forum reflects my commitment to the industry. Looking forward, I aim to align the demand for our consulting with POET\'s success, enjoying client collaboration. Beyond work, my passions include garden design, wildlife photography, and travelling, especially to Southeast Asia—Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai being favourites.
