I am currently working on various commercial projects for GNAAS. My initial project was making efficiencies in their Trading Company which collects pre-loved clothing donations around the North East and Cumbria. These were then sorted, packed and sold in bulk to the trade textile business. I managed a team of 7 employees and a fleet of 9 vans. In early 2025 I nogitiated a contract for a partnership with an external company to collect clothing on our behalf. This brought more revenue to the charity whilst reducing costs and liabities. In mid 2025 I opened a Coffee House and gift outlet in our main office base for both supporters and the public to enjoy. This facility will also provide a vital long-term, regular income for the charity as well as providing a focal point to raise awareness of our work within the community. Alongside the Coffee House I manage our conferencing facilities which are open to local businesses for hire as well as GNAAS teams. This facility is another income source for the charity, especially since I introduced the GNAAS catering option rather than use external suppliers for refreshments. I designed the Coffee House myself from scratch, sourced contractors and equipment suppliers. I have sourced all the retail products and maintain the budget for profitability. Day to day the Coffee House is run by an employed supervisor and a team of 15 volunteers whom I recruited, trained and manage.Other ongoing projects I am personally responsible for and manage are the full refurbishment of our offices and accommodation block in Langwathby, a mini-refurbishment of our Hangar and accommodation block in Eaglescliffe and the clearing and selling of two residential properties that had been left to the charity.I am a qualified forklift operator and qualified warehouse Banksman. I also hold a certificates in Mental Health First Aid, Fire safety and Fire extinguisher, Legionella and water safety, Food safety for catering level 2 & 3 and Food Allergy
