I’m part of a team of three who are responsible for the accuracy in managing of all the financial flux generated by Asia/US/EU to/from UK supply chain operations between 45 carriers, hundreds of suppliers and 12 JCB Production Units- Checking if the carriers proforma is containing all the correct costs for all the operations generated against on what is registered in the software’s system by Planning Dep related to JCB BU’s- To discover and amend any base cost issues, missing surcharges, adding costs like Demurrages, customs taxes, cancelled operations etc with carriers financial Dep’s. and our Planning Dep’s- Using Transporeon software to investigate assigned deliveries to various carriers for a specific cost at a specific time, generating financial and transport reports- Preparing daily or monthly financial, technical and operational reports or ad-hoc meetings for Managers about causes for rejected payments, delays in payments, payments structures, types of costs generated, types of applied VAT,etc- In daily basis to mediate and update the financial regional cost centers located in China and India with all the fin docs needed in order for them to bill the JCB Production units- Along with our Finance Deps. from India and China we are investigating and solving all the payments issues with various business partners in order to avoid any double billing for JCB, invoice sums mismatches against proforma, VAT charges- Every week using various Excel financial formulas we are preparing the “balance sheet” of all JCB financial and technical operations (1500 to 2500 ops) in a reporting package helping them to understand what are the overall weekly costs, what kind of equipment they are buying for what costs; Achievement’s- I’m the only one in Finance Dep. who was officially awarded two Maersk Spot Awards for Excelent results- In Maersk, in a very short period of time we had to learn how to operate new software’s, business processes and I was the best
