As Consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations I work on demand for different teams based at FAO Headquarters in Rome. My latest roles have been that of an One Health intelligence expert supporting future pandemic preparedness and response within a large Quadripartite (WHO, OIE, UNEP & FAO) led scoping study and supporting the organisation\'s work to manage the emerging threat of antimicrobial resistance. In the past I have worked on risk modelling of zoonotic influenza viruses, multi-regional capacity building initiatives on early warning and rapid response in food safety and contributed to the modernization of EMPRES-i; FAO\'s global disease information system for transboundary and high impact animal diseases.
