Highly experienced business development, fundraising, event, venue, team and sales manager / director with 14 years experience working within the London events industry on both venue and supplier sides, including 7 years as Head of Events/Venues.My role at Demelza Hospice Care for Children combines my previous commercial and business development experience in a fundraising role: seeking new corporate partnerships and collaborations; building mutually beneficial relationships; driving fundraising income.My previous roles include:Luxury florists Hayford & Rhodes - focussed on product development and maximising new business and existing relationships; driving sales and brand opportunities across the areas of the business (weekly contract flowers, bouquets, events and weddings); ensuring high levels of client retention.Venues\' roles including: The King\'s Hall (Kent, developing and marketing the programme of public events, and the venue as a cafe and gallery destination as well as its private hire options); Head of Banqueting House for Historic Royal Palaces (London, management of the daytime visitor attraction and events business at the Banqueting House; strategic responsibility for the five Historic Royal Palaces in my dual role as Head of Functions & Events).
