ABOUT PETER WILLIAMS

As Non Executive Director of The Thames Club, I advise the Board on strategy, assess risk, and develop key relationships in the local business community. The Thames Club is a premium leisure and wellbeing facility that offers a range of fitness, health, and wellness services to over 2500 members. I have over 14 years of experience in managing multi-faceted luxury leisure businesses and facilities, with a focus on business turnaround, growth, and culture change. I hold a Certificate in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching, which enables me to develop and empower my team of 40 employees.I am also the founder of the Hot Yoga Club, a unique studio that combines the benefits of hot yoga with the convenience of a fitness club. I partnered with Amanda Free, Britain\'s first hot yoga teacher, to launch this innovative concept in 2018. Since then, we have attracted hundreds of customers, including busy executives, who seek a demanding cardio workout and improved mental focus. I have built a strong career in senior management across the leisure and travel sectors. I have prided myself on realising visions whilst delivering consistent financial success but especially leading inspirational teams of people who provide wonderful experiences to customers alongside the delivery of quality service to stakeholders and partners alike. I am passionate about fitness and wellness, and I was awarded CEO of the Year 2018 by CEO Monthly Magazine for my leadership in the sector.I am driven by community led initiatives to provide the very best customer and member experiences along with value for money, and working with local businesses and the Borough Council, to maximise impact and a premium product delivery. I deliver this through my day job alongside my role as a director on the local BID Board.
