ABOUT PETER JORGENSON
I’m the founder of The Jorgenson Companies, a Central Indiana holding company focused on acquiring and operating great established businesses for the long term. I partner with owners who care deeply about their teams, customers, and legacy, and who want a thoughtful succession plan with permanent ownership rather than a short-term exit. My primary focus is Central Indiana businesses, though I am open to the right fit beyond the region. Before this, I spent 20+ years leading large teams across Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Finance, including VP-level roles, and I’ve led organizations through major change, growth, and transitions.I’m most interested in profitable, well-run businesses with durable demand, strong cultures, and deep roots in their communities. Industry matters less to me than people and fundamentals. My approach is to honor what makes a company special, support the leaders and team who built it, and invest in practical operating systems that drive long-term growth.I believe strongly in shared ownership. Over time, each business I acquire will offer meaningful ownership pathways for team members, because we build these companies together and we succeed together.Separately, I co-lead Jorgenson Hutton Advisors with Corey Hutton (formerly with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits). Corey and I competed for years in a uniquely intense market, and I’ve always had tremendous respect for how he leads: smart, hardworking, innovative, and deeply committed to driving continuous improvement. Our experiences are highly complementary, and together we bring a broad, operator-level view of the adult beverage industry.
