ABOUT JOHN GULLION

John Gullion has 26 years of executive leadership experience. John has generated over $400 million dollars in total revenue while serving over 15 million guests in the businesses he has led while creating countless memories for both guests & team members.John is currently the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at the Indianapolis Zoo. Prior to his promotion as EVP & COO, John was the Senior Vice President of Operations. Before joining the Indianapolis Zoo, with Jester FEC, John led a team of General Managers with Malibu Jack’s Indoor Theme Parks as the Senior Regional Director of Park Operations for all US locations. As the Regional Director of Sports Venues for The Sports Facilities Companies, John led a team of General Managers, venue staff, and their sports, family entertainment, and events venues to operational success. During his tenure as GM / Partner of Incrediplex for eight years, John spearheaded the growth of the 4 acre indoor Sports, Family Entertainment & Events facility to hosting nearly one million guests annually. For five consecutive years as the GM at SpareZ Davie John set revenue records for the South Florida FEC that had 64 lanes of bowling, arcade, Sports Bar & Grille. John was the GM of two golf courses, restaurant & golf community for nine years. John began his professional career as a Teacher, Coach & Athletic Director.John is an innovative servant leader with experience producing results for a diverse set of businesses. Throughout his career, John has successfully helped the organizations he has served become central components of their surrounding communities while driving revenue generation goals & delivering world class customer experiences.John brings extensive experience in leading and developing teams, fostering community engagement, setting strategic direction and optimizing operations to drive growth and impact for the organizations he has served professionally and through volunteer leadership.John Gullion earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from University of Louisville.
