ABOUT PETER DEITZ

Hello! I am a 2 x B Corp entrepreneur (Unwrapit & Grantbook), advisor with MacKay CEO Forums, and advocate of employee ownership in Canada. As a Co-Founder of Unwrapit, I get to produce digital gift campaigns that tell a story of gratitude. Since 2021, Unwrapit has been helping companies strengthen their most important relationships. Our unique approach strengthens relationships while also communicating our customers\' values. Best of all, expressing gratitude through Unwrapit often produces negative emissions. And unlocks donations to charities in Canada, the U.S, and around the world. Through MacKay CEO Forums, I help Canadian CEOs think about gratitude in new ways. CEOs that embrace and model gratitude create the conditions for greatness. Why? Because gratitude unlocks what teams need to succeed: psychological safety, belonging, and motivation. Gratitude can take many forms. From from the simplest of words to a meaningful gift to the ownership structure and bylaws of a company. Prior to my current two roles, I co-founded and co-led Grantbook. From 2018 to 2024, I contributed to Grantbook\'s work in a governance capacity only. In January 2025, Grantbook became Canada\'s first Employee Ownership Trust company, an accomplishment that I am proud to have played a role in.What you\'ll find in my LinkedIn posts- Reflections on gratitude in all its forms - Unwrapit news and milestones - Occasional off-topic posts about life as a father of three young kids based in Toronto, ON
