ABOUT JAMES PLAYFORD

As an accomplished Senior leader, James has facilitated significant growth and performance-leading financial, cultural, and procedural improvements in each organization he has supported. Focusing on developing and empowering leaders in his teams to create and achieve shared goals, he concurrently built innovative systems and processes to support performance excellence and sustain success. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team of a publicly traded entertainment company, James was responsible for national operations of a suite of entertainment venues. He scaled brands and multi-unit facilities, launched a new national brand, guided strategic, operational and contingency planning and led outstanding operational growth and performance. James completed his Graduate Program in Executive Coaching at Royal Roads University in 2021. He concurrently consulted to a National Retailer where he developed the leadership team, launched a new brand and built out operations. His dedication to leadership learning, collaboration, innovation, and communication has quickly established James as a trusted advisor, trainer and valued partner within PPG’s client organizations. James facilitates the PPG Leadership Action Learning Program’s Group learning sessions, Strategic Operational Planning sessions, Culture and Re-organization sessions, and trains executives across a number of industries. He also supports the Playford Performance Group’s annual pro bono executive leadership development and training in the not-for-profit sector.
