In his current role, Peter serves as the product manager for GE Transportation\'s drill motor business, the leading supplier of electric motors for oil & gas drilling equipment. In prior roles with GE, Peter has led a wide variety of global technology development programs from market assessment and concept design to prototype fabrication, regulatory certification, and client installation. Some of these new technology introduction (NTI) efforts include an acoustic pipeline monitoring service to detect third party damage on buried oil and gas lines, a corrosion detection system for high temperature process pipelines, and an in-situ high temperature / high pressure temperature monitor for diamond press control. As a process Black Belt, Peter pioneered a micron diamond recycling process that made commercial use of a former waste stream by re-purposing idle facilities with no additional P&E. Prior to joining GE, Peter spent 8 years in the US Navy serving in the submarine community and on the engineering faculty of the US Naval Academy. He also ran a large private school and is the author of the book, Dollar Noncents. Peter resides in the Houston area with his wife and family.
