The role is responsible for leading and developing the strategic approach to Procurement across H&T Group, advising and supporting teams on effective Procurement.My key responsibilities are as follows: • To lead on developing the Procurement strategy for H&T Group, define the policy, process and governance by which the company identifies potential suppliers, evaluates and selects the best partner. • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the H&T Group, establishing their requirements, defining the scope, criteria, evaluation and selection processes for each procurement exercise. • Monitor, identify and manage potential risks within the Procurement process. Mitigate risks as appropriate to protect the company.• Review and increase efficiency of Procurement processes through digitalisation, effective policy and procedures amendments. Communicate clearly across the business and upskill, train stakeholders where required.• Creation of sourcing plans to reduce cost, secure supply and minimise supply chain disruption.• Actively support sustainable Procurement, as an integral part of H&T ESG strategy. Demand from suppliers the highest level of compliance to the ESG agenda, educating key stakeholders and suppliers on ESG expectations. • Maintain supplier master data. Ensuring information is accurately stored and there is a clear calendar of renewal activity and management of contracts.• Initiate, support, negotiate, review and manage supplier contracts adhering to the H&T Group Procurement strategy, policy and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers.• Lead regular supplier management reviews, use of scorecards for key performance indicators, strategic positioning evaluation, business perspectives, and strategic product and market developments.• Management of small Procurement team within H&T Group.
