ABOUT PETER SPILLIS
Pete Spillis is Managing Partner at the Kelley|Uustal law firm in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. He has more than 25 years of experience in high-stakes civil trial work. Mr. Spillis began his career at one of the preeminent defense firms in Florida, where he handled personal injury and medical malpractice trials throughout the state. In 2007 Mr. Spillis joined a national trial law firm. As managing partner of its Miami office, he was primarily a trial specialist for his clients’ high-exposure catastrophic injury cases. He also led a team that created and ran the office’s construction litigation department. In 2014, he joined Kelley|Uustal, where he works to protect the rights of individuals and families. In 2022 he was appointed as the Managing Partner of the firm. He continues to head the firm’s medical malpractice team, in addition to handling commercial and products cases.
