GLF is a network of currently 45 former Heads of Government and other distinguished leaders with first-hand experience of the difficulties of political leadership. In addition to the provision of direct but discreet policy advice to serving Heads of Government, GLF Members engage in mediation, discussions with leaders below the national level, consultative forums on key issues, dialogues with the heads of key institutions, regional public conferences, and other forms of engagement with like-minded organisations. Responsible for infrastructure development, resource deployment, stakeholder events, and communications channels of a Swiss-registered foundation providing high level confidential policy advice to Heads of Government around the world. Support CEO by coordinating day-to-day corporate business; promoting internal policy and good practice across the organisation; developing systems; driving change and innovation; leading on business development, planning, and delivery; and overseeing risk, compliance and facilities. Also contribute to financial forecasts and budget management; executive and board level governance and leadership; external and internal communications; management of digital transformation projects; and support of Projects Director on international missions and high level consultations, partner development and research and briefing materials.
