ABOUT PETER BRIGGS
I\'m an Engineering Manager with over 10 years experience on a range of projects. The majority have been on design and construct projects in most fields of Civil and Structural Engineering. The experience gained was in all of the major structural materials, steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, GRP and timber; along with Civil design works involving roads, drainage, marine jetties and retaining walls. During the design phase, I\'m responsible for managing the design process ensuring compliance with current standards and legislation, managing the resources to ensure the quality of design is to the highest standard.The majority of my recent workload is for infrastructure clients such as Network Rail, although more recently become more involved in design and build projects in the energy sector. Peter has just completed a project as the Lead Civil Engineer Designer in the Nuclear Sector working for the client Magnox Ltd.
