The American Numismatic Association, or ANA, is a congressionally-chartered U.S. nonprofit organization established in 1891. As Digital Marketing Director, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to assist in modernizing the ANA brand and introducing it to new audiences online.My primary duty at the ANA is directing and organizing content across all digital channels, including the ANA website (money.org), social media networks, search engines, email broadcasts and 3rd-party partner websites. Ultimately, my goal has been to increase overall brand visibility and generate revenue through membership, magazine subscriptions, advertising, and fundraising. On a more granular scale, my day-to-day incorporates content strategy, deployment and promotion; SEO, PPC and website UX management; web and graphic design; advertising strategy and design; direction of social media community management; creation of sales funnels and conversion strategies; Google Ad Grant management compliance, and direct KPI reporting to ED and Board of Governors.Since joining the ANA in September of 2016, we’ve boosted traffic to the website 40% year-over-year and nearly doubled the organization’s social media following. I was also excited and honored to lead a team in the design, implementation and launch of a new Coin Dealer Directory (see link below). The directory is a resource to both ANA members and the general public. It includes over 1,500 ANA-member dealers and is used by thousands of collectors each week.
