Following the successful carve-out of Siemens Energy, Inc, I advanced to lead and strengthen the accounting function for Siemens Gamesa’s North American operations. Robust financial accounting and financial reporting is at the heart of this role, and it’s my responsibility to deliver the highest quality of accounting books/records. My role here is to ensure compliance with strict accounting processes, along with Siemens’ FRGs, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other pertinent guidelines. In this capacity, I report to the European-based Global Head of Operational Accounting and the North America CFO.

With more than 20 years of success at Siemens, I’ve built my career on strengthening financial governance for multibillion-dollar business units. As a leader, I’m known for leveraging a forward-looking approach to financial analysis, planning, and budgeting while driving ongoing sustainability and providing steadfast leadership across multiple functions within Finance/Accounting.Ensuring accurate financial records, robust controls, and compliant operations have been at the heart of my career, no matter the role. Specifically, I’ve frequently been called on to deliver guidance during major corporate change, including providing subject matter expertise on Siemens’ Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRGs). Analytical by nature, I have a history of scrutinizing financial data to unearth and mitigate risk while generating insightful, strategic reports.Recently, I successfully completed the large-scale carve-out of Siemens Energy, Inc.(the largest for any country outside Germany), involving 10+ legal entities and $6B in revenue/$4B in net assets. As Head of the US PMO, I coordinated the 5-year business/financial plan, oversaw the financial valuation process, and produced pertinent financials for valuation/capitalization purposes. I\'m currently the Head of Accounting for North America for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Myself and my team support the North American business which has a Business Volume of $2B and about 1,800 employees.**SELECT HIGHLIGHTS** As Head of Accounting for Region North America have successfully managed financial accounting, financial reporting and external/audits for the last 2+ years. Led Siemens Gas & Power’s FY18 implementation of the most impactful revenue recognition standard (IFRS 15) in the US. Entities reported ~$1B in transition differences (largest of any entity worldwide) with no audit discrepancies. Proposed a strategic roadmap for a CF R restructure, leading to the formation of the CF R NAM US organization in FY2016, built on operating synergies and streamlined processes. Earned extremely positive survey feedback from US Divisional Controllers on the performance of the personally led Business Partner (technical accounting) team.
