I have been the principal consultant for Delta Environmental Consulting since 1993. I served on the Board of the South Australian Coast Protection Board for 20 years and represented the Board on committees including the Adelaide Coastal Waters Study, the Estuary Policy Group and the Sea Level Rise Advisory Committee. Other committees I have served include the Marine Parks Council of SA and the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary Advisory Board, which latter I chaired.My main interests include solar saltfield, salt lake and salt marsh biology, conducting biological surveys, taxonomic and classification work, the preparation of herbarium and museum vouchers, salt marsh rehabilitation projects, scientific illustration and desktop publishing, the development of solar salt evaporation pond models and provision of advice to solar Saltfield operators.Experience in running the consulting company has resulted in my developing significant time management and priority setting skills, while a strong personal commitment to research has resulted in several recent papers being accepted for international publication. I am fellow of the Royal Society of South Australia and a member of both the International Society for Saline Lake Research (ISSLR) and the International Society for Limnology (Societas Internationalis Limnologiae, SIL).A comprehensive CV is available online at
