The Leeds Digital Ball is an annual non-profit charity event that takes great pride in supporting the local tech ecosystem and driving positive change for the future.Celebrating the city’s growing tech and digital community and spotlighting the importance of digital inclusion. In partnership with the Leeds Community Foundation, the exclusive event aims to raise funds yearly for charitable organisations seeking to narrow the digital divide, bringing the tech scene together to create a powerhouse that strives to widen access and improve digital skills, building a more equitable society.As a proud committee member and advocate, I work with my fellow members to fulfil the mission of the LDB, raise awareness for the LCF and support digital inclusion in Leeds.As a collective, we aim to deliver better outcomes for the future of the Leeds digital community!For more information on the Leeds Digital Ball:

ABOUT PENELOPE HINDLE
Lead Technical Programmes Manager at Code First Girls, the UK\'s largest provider of free coding education to women. Passionate about diversity in tech, committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of tech talent. I have been an instructor and mentor with Code First Girls for several years, before joining the team full time to help shape and create courses.I have a background in Software Development and Product Management, primarily within the health-tech and scientific industries. Successfully built Agile product teams, and defined product visions, roadmaps and strategies. I\'m actively involved with Smart Works Leeds as a dresser and outreach volunteer, an organisation that helps women gain the confidence and skills they need to secure employment. I\'m driven by my commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, my work is centred around empowering and equipping people with the skills they need to succeed, both inside and outside of work.
