ABOUT ROGER BRENNINKMEYER

After 20 years working in the branding industry my efforts are currently focused on developing art from recycled plastics. PECO is my latest firm which provides stunning art pieces from melted plastic plates. We encourage residents and businesses to provide us plastics for the pieces they commission: everyone can be a part of the plastics crisis solution. This latest initiative is not a one-off venture away from my career in brand development. Rather, I see it as a result of 20 years within the design business, 4 years in retail and 3 years in finance. All these fields, in their own way have helped me arrive at this point. I count myself blessed to have had such a variety of jobs ranging from a loan officer for micro-entrepreneurs to founder of a agencies that have worked with very large firms, leading entrepreneurs and leaders. Of all the values that have arisen from these experiences, none has marked my current aspirations more than the need for \"authenticity\" and \"sustainability\". In a world that is increasingly latching onto \"catch-all\" generalizations with businesses achieving ever-higher margins at the expense of everything, my hope is to be involved in activities that bring balance back to my life, our lives and the natural world we live in.
