As a Quality Control Analyst at Alcon Laboratories, I ensure the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of ophthalmic pharmaceutical products through advanced analytical testing and data integrity practices. My role involves working with a wide range of analytical instruments and systems to support product release and uphold global GMP standards.Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ophthalmic products using HPLC, GC, LC, FTIR, KF, pH meter, UV-VIS and Turbidimeter.Conduct method validation, routine analysis, and troubleshooting in accordance with GMP, USP, ICH, and ISO 13485 standards.Support microbiology testing including sterility, bioburden, endotoxin (LAL), and cleanroom environmental monitoring (air, surfaces, personnel).Operate and maintain instruments with regular calibration and qualification to ensure accuracy and compliance.Use LIMS for sample management, data entry, and result tracking following ALCOA+ data integrity principles.Manage batch release documentation and deviation handling using SAP (QM module) and VIVA quality platforms.Review analytical data, perform OOS/OOT investigations, and support CAPA implementation and closure.Participate in internal audits, FDA inspections, and customer audits, contributing to strong compliance outcomes.Train and mentor junior analysts on instrument operation, GMP practices, and lab safety.Led initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and support digital documentation transformation in the lab.
