My work-based learning experience at has been a wonderful journey and a great landmark in my academic and professional career. While studying MSc Artificial Intelligence at, I had the opportunity to work as a Data Scientist and gained valuable hands-on industry experience.Working at Jacobs provided me with an understanding of how Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are used to tackle real-world problems in a professional environment. This placement helped me develop my technical knowledge, analytical thinking, communication, team working and problem solving skills, working with experienced professionals.This experience also enhanced my confidence, adaptability, time management and understanding of professional collaboration and project responsibilities. It gave me invaluable experience in the industry, meetings and decision making processes of the real world.
