Architected and built back end for large scale sensor based data collection system for monitoring air quality in and around Owens Lake in California. Written in Python using FastAPI and Pydantic using a modern REST architecture, and hosted on AWS, leveraging several of their automation services.• Designed and developed Project Information Management System for helping Jacobs clients manage construction documents and related workflow. Leverages ArcGIS and ProjectWise for document storage, and makes extensive use of ArcGIS REST API. Coded in Python.• Developed bird nest tracking and monitoring system to help clients track bird nesting sites in construction areas. Incorporated helicopter flight data to detect intrusions into nesting areas for regulatory reporting. System provides daily activity reports and incursion analysis.• Multiple roles in community based air quality monitoring program to train and assist members of the community in how to build low cost air monitoring systems, manage and analyze the resulting data, build air quality models, and advocate for improved air quality.
