Responsible for administering and developing our SharePoint intranet in line with business requirements.• Identify requirements from individual business functions of how to publish and administer content in our intranet environment. • Provide valuable mentoring and training using the intranet while utilizing SharePoint Online.• Evaluate new and existing products to address customer requirements and develop recommendations where appropriate.• Support the ongoing maintenance of SharePoint and update any key components. Additionally, keep abreast of the latest SharePoint trends, technologies and related tools in order to help achieve our wider business objectives.• Create and modify SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies.• Proven track record of interpreting business requirements into a SharePoint-based intranet.• Experience of delivering administration training in SharePoint based intranet applications.• Experience of publishing, taxonomies, meta-data, collaboration and knowledge management.• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, while maintaining an analytic and logical approach. Proactive and self-motivated, with strong problem solving abilities.• Hands-on experience of SQL, IIS, Windows Server 2008. Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services 2008.• Ability to troubleshoot, research, analyze and evaluate issues.• Create documentation for any function while performed under any competency.• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure.
