ABOUT PAUL LOWRIE
I\'m a Partner in the London energy and engineering team of Clyde & Co LLP. My practice centres on coverage issues and commercial disputes relating to wind farms (offshore and onshore), solar farms, interconnectors, upstream and downstream energy, engineering, marine and construction. I advise on losses and disputes worldwide, and recent experience includes losses in the North Sea (English, Scottish, German, Belgian, Dutch and Danish sectors), Taiwan, Canada, United States and Mexico. I often advise on subrogated recoveries and on disputes between contractors. I am the legal representative to the LMA Onshore Renewables Committee and Joint Natural Resources Committee Offshore Wind Sub-Committee. The majority of my work involves an international element and I regularly advise on issues relating to jurisdiction and foreign law. I have conducted arbitrations under numerous rules including ICC, LCIA, DIFC, LMAA and UNCITRAL.
