ABOUT PAULINA CUADRA RICHARDSON
I’m motivated by the idea that well-designed and intentional market forces, when rooted in clinical integrity, can fix the misaligned incentives in today’s healthcare system. Following my graduation from Dartmouth College, I joined TruDataRx to help operationalize this philosophy. We empower self-insured employers to transcend traditional PBM models by leveraging two core value propositions: absolute independence from the pharmaceutical supply chain and a rigorous commitment to Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER).Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) is the systematic, head-to-head comparison of different therapies to determine which interventions work best for specific patient populations under real-world conditions. Rather than simply proving a treatment is better than placebo, CER evaluates the relative benefits and harms of existing options to provide actionable evidence for clinical decision-making. At TruDataRx, we leverage this to develop coverage policies and treatment guidelines that prioritize the most effective, safest, and highest-value care.I work at the intersection of data, strategy, and employee well-being. By identifying what truly works best, we deliver meaningful savings for plan sponsors and better outcomes for the people they serve. The outcome is a transparent, evidence-driven pharmacy benefit strategy that is financially responsible and aligned with what’s best for members.
