ABOUT PAULINA CIKATRICIS

Hi there, my name is Paulina — I’d love to connect! I was born in Slovakia, but moved to Vancouver, BC with my family at a young age and have called it home ever since. I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation, majoring in Science and Management. My interests and passions, as well as my job, are deeply rooted in my love for the outdoors. ‍ My career with Arc’teryx evolved from a part-time job while I was completing my undergrad. I always felt that the work I was doing and the company’s vision and values aligned with my personal values, goals, and hobbies. After graduating, it was a no brainer to continue growing within the retail space at Arc’teryx instead of pursuing a career in conservation or sustainable forestry because I felt that those itches were being scratched by the brand’s innate connection to natural spaces through the gear we make and ethos of \'leaving it better\'. Today, I am an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the Retail industry with a passion for Product. ‍ In my spare time, I love to go for long walks (bonus points if it’s with my people — I love walking and chatting, it’s the best way to catch up with someone in my opinion), cycling with my partner, cleaning and organizing my space, sauna sessions, singing Taylor Swift songs, boating, skiing, swimming, surfing, and cold plunging. Orcas are my favourite animal, so spending time in or on the water makes me feel closer to them.
