ABOUT PAUL CLACK

Paul is an experienced environmental consultant and project director with over 20 years experience in ecological consultancy, working for numerous clients in diverse markets, including transportation, energy, utilities (especially the water industry), defence and development. He is also a Governing Board member of his professional institute CIEEM and chair of their Training, Education and Career Development Committee. Specialties: Key areas of expertise include leading projects through the DCO process, ornithology, ecological impact assessment (EcIA) and integration with formal EIA, Habitats Regulations Assessment, protected species survey and mitigation work, statutory liaison, botanical identification and mapping, invasive alien plant identification and eradication, land enhancement advice, biodiversity planning and invertebrate studies. Paul also has experience in environmental assessment and due diligence work for international lenders including EBRD and IFC.
