An experienced commercially aware Project Manager, I have run projects worldwide as either the Project Manager or Project Executive/Director, set up PMO operations and led and mentored teams of Project Managers. I have experience of the practical application of PRINCE2 and Agile Scrum methodologies and hard earned experience gained from the lessons learnt from successful and importantly not so successful projects. I understand the skills required for the full life cycle management of projects, covering business case writing, SOW/PIDs, resource scheduling, cost control, risk management, leadership and completion/closure.A respected technologist with a proven track record in project delivery, technical innovation, solution design & specification. With 30+ years’ experience in the broadcast & media industry, I have delivered complex, industry-first, leading edge technical systems from proposition development to successful deployment and go live. I have a passion for the processes of project management and understanding new technologies. An effective & credible communicator at C-level, team & end-user level, in both technical & operational environments, I am an enthusiastic self-starter, able to see the overall picture & deliver the vision. Dialogue with customers and partners, understanding their challenges & workflows, has always been a key part of what I do & I thrive in developing & maintaining strong relationships.An achievement-orientated organiser offering a mix of people management, project, bid and product management, technical design & pre-sales skills, I have successfully built & motivated globally diverse, cross-functional teams who deliver value & results.
