We opened Bakeri Baltzersen as the country was being plunged into lockdown in March of 2020. Whilst it could have looked like terrible timing it was in fact a lifeline for the wider business to cling onto.We moved immediately into offering doorstep deliveries for retail customers and over the ensuing months have switched our capacity over into offering wholesale supply as well as supplying the cafe. In October 2020 we opened our first retail bakery site on Oxford Street in Harrogate to sell our bread and pastries as well as food to go.We\'re actively looking for more businesses to partner with for wholesale supply; cafes, restaurants, hotels, delis and anyone else who values good bread.
