Products include fire rated boards, mortar compounds, coatings such as paints, sealants, collars, wraps and putty’s along with service vents, transits and dampers, along with other fire and non-fire subsidiary products.Lead and develop both the technical, training and certification departments. Provide technical advisory services to our local and international markets, providing solution-based details for technical queries involving penetration and linear seals, fire rated ductwork, damper and general fire related industry enquiries. Produce technical assessments / engineering judgments based on Polyseam’s manufactured products, tested details, UKTA / ETA certification and classifications. Updating of technical and commercial documentation, liaise with various departments on all aspects of Technical, Research & Development and Fire Rated / Resistance Testing, certification and compliance including new developments and implementing into the applicable markets. Travel and meet customers and conduct product and technical training seminars, review specifications, product application and advisory documentation.Manage new and updated certifications for the business including all commercial brands and products. Documentation includes both UK and European Technical Assessments (UKTA and ETA’s), classification reports, UL-EU Certification, assessments and the like. Orchestrated the documentation and certification for various international approvals such as the US and German markets. Facilitated factory production control and surveillance audits to ensure ongoing product certification.
