I am Director of Grace Overseas Logistics Ltd. I am now responsible for all Company matters, from Accounts to Operations.Grace Overseas (GO) has a rich history in the logistics sector, one that places us in the enviable position as a reputable, respected and highly sought-after freight company.Following on from Grace Overseas Manchester, who were established in 1985, the decision was made to open an office in the South of the UK. Both Paul, Kevin and Octavian have worked together previously for several years within the freight industry and the opportunity to work together again, bringing their years of experience to the table, was a key factor in establishing the office. Between them, there is over 40 years of experience within the logistics field. They hold a number of qualifications between them, including Certificates of professional competence in UK and International Road Haulage and more up to date they are all completing customs procedure courses, eventually to achieve a level to apply for AEO accreditation.They bring with them an existing, long term customer base, but in the four years of trading, have grown that to include several larger, blue chip organisations, but also staying loyal to their original customers.They work with an approved number of subcontracted hauliers, but should the need be there, they have a database of hauliers across Europe that have the expertise to assist with all movements.Since Brexit, we have managed to also assist with our clients’ customs needs and will soon to able to organise customs clearances directly (AEO), but in the interim, have approved customs agents across Europe at our disposal.We continue to grow, even during the ongoing pandemic. We concentrate our efforts on our existing customer base to ensure a highly efficient and professional service but are always keen to assist with any enquiry a new client may challenge us with.
