ABOUT PAUL HITCHCOCK

Paul Hitchcock is the Sr Director of Retail Sales for New England. Paul works within the Atlantic North market for Verizon’s Consumer Group. He is responsible for sales, service and overall operations within his 42 Direct locations. Paul uses his experience of 23+ years in the wireless industry to cultivate a results driven team that is diverse and inclusive amongst its 150+ employees. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree of Art from University of Massachusetts. Paul joined Verizon in 2002 as a Customer Care Representative in the Avon, MA location. Prior to this role he served as a Wireless Repair Technician for a Verizon contractor also in that location. It is through these roles that he developed not only an understanding of the wireless industry but also a love for sales. Paul quickly grew his career in the retail sales channel and assumed his first role in leadership. This role was an Assistant Store Manager of Operations. Through this role Paul was able to develop the operational skills and financial acumen that was to prove beneficial throughout his career. Throughout the next few years Paul served in many other roles in the retail channel. As a General Manager he won several awards including the Vice Presidents Circle of accountability and 2018 Winners Circle. Paul also lead his territory several times in year-end results including top GA, phone adds, SMB and others. In 2018 Paul was a Graduate of the LEAD District program. In March of 2019 Paul was promoted to the Role of District Manager and won Winner\'s Circle for his work in Southern New England. In 2020 he also served on the Digital and Touchless Retail Core teams focused on innovating and implementing touchless solutions to ensure employee safety. For the prior year his district delivered the top touchless results in the nation.
