Researches IoT implementations and their associated vulnerabilities, with a focus on distributed energy resource management systems and grid-interactive buildings.Performs systems analysis, security test and evaluation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing, and scanning.Conceives and develops hypotheses, new methods, techniques, or approaches to address critical cyber security technical problems.Designs cyber security threat profiles and design artifacts to evaluate threat findings and mitigations.Works in the Supply Chain Risk Management Lab: Creates Hardware bill of materials, physically enumerates devices to inspect critical components, and researches applicable CVEs based on integrated asset types.Mentor for undergrad interns pursuing degrees majoring in cybersecurity.Manager of the Building Energy and Science Technology Lab - running research experiments on modern lighting and building equipment.
