Former Second City student (2 semesters with Steve Carrell as the instructor) while working as an IBEW Local 134 electrician setting up and operating sound, lighting, and video equipment at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. I happily remained true to my Wisconsin upbringing as Badger & Green Bay Packer fan! The strangely unique pairing while attending Elmhurst College resulted in a sales manager position at the Sheraton New York Hotel. I have been with HelmsBriscoe for over 20 years, a Hotel site selection and contract negotiation company which is compensated by the Hotels so there is no cost to our clients. There are 4 key negotiating opportunities starting with the RFP but prior to a contract request. The weightiest contract terms remain advantageous to the hotel if these times are missed, or are made more favorable to the client.
