ABOUT PATTI VROBEL

I am a forward thinking engineering leader with broad experience building cloud-based software solutions and technology for both the manufacturing and construction industries. I have run global organizations and have a reputation for fostering strong engineering cultures and high performing teams by partnering with business stakeholders on vision, creating technical strategy and effectively executing through team empowerment, trust, inclusivity, accountability, and celebration. A common theme throughout my career is my passion for solving customer problems by exploring innovative solutions that leverage emerging technologies and delivering software that is simple and easy to use. Building intelligent systems with data using AI and other computational methods has been a focus since my early career as a computer scientist in the Artificial Intelligence Lab at GE Research. I spent over a decade in startups and Autodesk building new 3d technology and tools that form the data foundation for digital twins today. Most recently at Trimble, I have directed the development of data platforms for utilizing ERP data for back office business analytics and for generating productivity forecasts on civil job sites using IoT data collected from machines.
