ABOUT PATRICK MORLEY

For the past 30 years, I’ve helped lead, build, and grow early-stage startups into market leading, public companies. I’ve had the opportunity to be part of 5 IPOs. I love building great companies while working with extraordinary people. To that end, I also am honored to serve as a Board member and advisor for both late-stage and early-stage tech companies.Between 2007 and 2021, I built Carbon Black from a 20-person startup into a security leader with 1200 global team members. Working with an amazing team, we grew from 5 customers to We envisioned creating a world safe from cyberattacks and we worked tirelessly to keep our thousands of global customers protected with world-class technology. Along the way, we had some incredible milestones including: a merger with Bit9, three acquisitions, a company transition to a SaaS model, a successful IPO on NASDAQ in 2018 and a $2.1 billion sale to VMware, where I served for two years as General Manager for the company’s Security Business Unit.
