ABOUT PATRICK WOOD
Patrick Wood is an award-winning storyteller whose creativity spans from videos and websites to card games and children’s literature. He is the author and illustrator of four children’s books about electric cooperatives and electric safety, which are now being used in classrooms and co-ops across more than 33 states to educate and inspire young readers. His selection as one of RE Magazine’s 2025 Rising Stars underscores his innovative approach to cooperative communications.Since 2019, Patrick has served as manager of communications for Co-Mo Connect in Tipton, MO, where he brings strategy, energy, and just the right amount of whimsy to telling the co-op story.Beyond his professional achievements, Patrick is most proud of his roles as husband, father, and self-proclaimed
